Taronga Zoo



Taronga Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in Australia, it was established in 1916. Currently it occupies 75 acres; it reared more than 400 kinds of animals, mainly in Australia's unique wildlife -based. Feeding animals such as koalas, kangaroos, wombats, platypus, Dingo dog, Tasmanian devil, Birds Australia, there are other chimpanzees, penguins, otters, rhinos, seals, raccoons, lizards, reptiles and other animals.


Recently Taronga Zoo has some newborn koalas, possums and kangaroos by zoo staff personally tending to get a more complete conservation. Free to visit the park over a variety of animals, people do not miss the opportunity to further contact with animals every day at different times. For example, at 11:00am, there are milking performances, at 12:00 and 3:00pm, there is bird show, at 2:00 in Discovery Farm, and people can personally touch the cute little animals.



Every April, May, June and August, the zoo will extend its opening to the evening, it allowing visitors to enjoy the stunning night view of the city of Sydney. Take the ferry traffic in Australia, just 12 minutes from Taronga Safari, it passing on behalf of the Sydney Opera House in Sydney --- You can also buy a ticket from Circular Quay Zoo Pass Office. Taronga Zoo is a large pay parking, a special feature disabled parking spaces and a large bus parking spaces.
