Queen
Victoria Building was completed in 1898, the building itself is a Roman-style
domed structure. The original aim is that as a market and office building, it
began crumbling in 1960 and 1970, there are some plans to tear down this
building, and even it had extraordinary history monuments. They want to build
the Civic Center and underground parking. Fortunately, people do restoration
work to transform this seven-store historic building into a beautiful tourist
spots and shopping centers.
QVB
is the largest shopping center in Sydney, there is 190 meters long, 30 meters
wide, it occupying the entire block. There are nearly 200 shops, cafes and restaurants.
On the ground floor and first floor, the retail food center comparison with
local characteristics, you can buy many of the local brands. Over the top, there
exist other international boutiques, such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Papoucci. To
the second floor you can enjoy some rare Heritage collection: Royal jewelry
display, extreme gorgeous Chinese jade bridal sedan chair (which is only known
to spread to the foreign Chinese jade sedan), Royal bell (Royal Clock) and The
Great Australia's bell (Great Australia Clock). QVB was also a dazzling array
of goods, you can buy everything you want, from clothing to jewelry, groceries
to medicine, art to food, everything. More importantly, you will personally
experience the real Australian history and culture.
